This 8 qt. pasta cooker is constructed with durable stainless steel and features a sandwich-clad bottom that raises the inner basket off the bottom to prevent food from sticking. This pasta cooker ships complete with a flat cover that helps retain moisture while cooking and also helps to capture heat, resulting in more efficient cooking.
It is constructed with durable, 22 gauge stainless steel, so it won't discolor or react to acidic foods over time. The thick, 4 mm aluminum core is designed to withstand the rigors of everyday use. The body is made of type 400 stainless steel. Plus, its aluminum clad bottom and sides attract and evenly distributes heat, thus eliminating hot spots.
For a secure grip during transport, it features welded, side-looped handles to ensure a permanent connection between the handles and the pasta cooker. Since these handles are on both the inset and stock pot, it ensures long-lasting quality.
This pasta is ideal for making cooking pasta due to the three separate components. The stock pot is made to hold water while the inset fits tightly into the pot and the many holes allow the water into the inset. When the pasta is done, the inset lifts out to easily strain the water from the pasta. Then the cover is included to hold in the heat for gentle simmering.
