  • Inspired by traditional Japanese styles, the 32 Dumas Ideal Santoku Knife has a broad and sharp scalloped blade that is lightweight and manageable. Made in France of nitrogen strengthened stainless steel, it is ideal for all types of cutting. Use with ease and control for all needs: slicing, chopping, dicing and mincing across all food varieties including meat, nuts, herbs and veggies.

    A Santoku is shorter and lighter than a Chef’s knife and features a sheep’s foot tip with a flat edge and rounded top edge. Ideal for mincing meat, preparing vegetables, portioning and filleting fish, and mincing shrimp.

    Hand-wash only, do not expose to hot temperatures. Wood handles should not be submerged in water for extensive periods of time. Dry blade and handle immediately after water exposure. Do not use on hard ingredients such as bones, frozen food, or hard surfaces to avoid damaging the cutting edge. Knives should be sharpened at least every week using a honing steel, a wet stone or any other knife sharpener respecting the cutting angle of 25°. Knives should be stored in a block, magnetic bar or sheath to avoid causing blade damage.
